Plans to move

Blogger has been a cool tool to use, lots of ease of customization, making posts, and even getting my own domain name here. But frankly this place has gone nowhere

Afraid that this has gotten old and I've been meaning to make another website where I could actually get viable follows and responses. I was thinking of making my new domain to be on Tumblr, going to convert my wretneck.tumblr.com into my website.

I won't close this down until I fully have my other site ready to go. But I will like to make the time today to say Goodbye to this place now. But I will cancel my domain name here for now. I'll post when Wretneck.com becomes that place.

Inktober dump 03 - 09

#Inktober #3, #Drawlloween #1- #Ghost
"There’s nothing to do after death, and life is too short to waste on regret"
Blue flames not included
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

#Inktober #4/#Drawlloween #3- #Goblin
"A few things here, take something there. Greedy goblins don’t know that life’s not fair"
Keep your hands to yourself
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

#InkTober 2015 #5- #Undertale
"Everyone has fallen into darkness, made mistakes and became a stranger. With hope in your heart and a soul filled with kindness, our journey has started to become someone greater"
Undertale didn’t easily become my favorite, which is why this has become the one game I tell everyone they need to play
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

#inktober 2015 #6- #Skulker
"A series of bad choices and honest mistakes, time to reflect and take a break"
The guy had it tough, made worse by a heel-turned hero
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

#InkTober 2015 #7: #Pepper
“Tired of working a part-time job while my art become slob. Pick up where I fell, making art to sell”
And to celebrate this laziness, here’s a drawing where the only ink on it is the color… pencils were feeling left out
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015

#InkTober/#Drawlloween 2015 #8- #Vampire
“The night is a dangerous place to be careless and rude. Anger not those who are in a bad mood”
Shut up, up there! Can’t a creature of the night be allowed to work!?
Art by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

#Inktober 2015 #9: #Goth
“Is the spotlight something we torture ourselves to achieve in fear of fading into the dark? Maybe subjecting to tragedy is how each of us will find our unique mark!”
Suddenly memories started flooding in… mostly of Jr. High… Oh dear
I don’t think Gothic Hazel is here to stay. Nothing spoils such character like playing it ironically… but once I make her comic series, will some people know that this could have been a Hazel that could have been, given what she will go through
Fun fact- when coloring this image, I found a pack of pens that I bought a long time ago and never used. So when I remembered my unnoticed* goth phase, I thought of limiting myself based on the colors I had available for this picture; when I didn’t have my colored pencil sets.
Most Goths would get it
*(Unnoticed as in I didn’t have anyone to share it with and didn’t do anything big like dye my hair or got piercings, just like dark things and contemplated what life was going to have for me. Sad to tell my younger self that life is harder than imagined, but what work I did to get here had made me stronger and even more determined)

Hazel's Mug coming soon

Anyone remember my mug I made a while back? Well, I propose making a mug where instead of Wret, it’s Hazel

Just imagine this face on a white background and fill it with coffee. Be releasing it at Furry Unlocked next weekend, price varying on production cost
Hazel is trademarked and created by Matt “Wretneck” Billingsley (2015)

Inktober 2015 1 & 2, and Drawlloween

#Inktober‬ 2015 #1- #messenger‬
"The air is cold, leaves have fallen.
The ground frozen, the sky darkens.
The wolves are howling, the dead have risen.
And thus the haunting shall begin"

And anyone not celebrating will be visited by ghosts

#InkTober‬ & #Drawlloween‬ #2- #Lucy‬, #Devil‬
"Broken Hearts and Tearing Eyes are susceptible to the Devil's Vice"
Been dying to draw this evil darling again!

What Can I do With Patreon?

I decided to get myself a Patreon since I am fully incapable to have a job in real life due to the aspect of being in person, and always being dragged into doing something that anyone can do and is nothing special to me. I have always done art and art is the best thing I can do.
My only concern is when setting this thing up it becomes a matter of what I give to the people to make it worth their investment. If it were me, I would just give what I can for the sake of seeing artists succeed. I have to make this place work to a benefit to where people are getting their money's worth, but I fear that I might end up taking something away from my friends and supporters; and I can't allow that to happen.
I can't make a living doing anything but art, haven't made a living making art yet, and I am most unhappy when I am not making art!
So now I am going to ask and take note of what I can do earn your investments. I am working on making sure there are things I don't take away that I have been giving before- development photos, Streams, videos, final art pieces w/ watermarks; which I have to remind SOME FOLKS are placed as a means to keep people online from just taking my artwork and uploading it as their own again, in the same sense I started doing it in support of the friends who felt forced to watermark their pieces for the very reason.
I only plan to do things that don't cross my code- IE nothing pornographic and in sexually bad taste, no hate art, no racism or bigotry of any kind, no art that is directly nor intentionally made for demeaning of one's gender, sexuality, identification, etc (note- Pin ups aren't demeaning and sometimes can be done in tasteful manors)
What are some things I can do to make it worth your investment?

Ziltoid the Omniscient (8-bit)

Pixel art of the week, a fan art tribute to one of my favorite musicians Devin Townsend of his intergalactic nerd, Ziltoid. This character has brought a lot of laughter into my life; I just wish he had his own tv series.

8-bit for your pleasure.
