Simpsons final session

Sadly, Simpsons week is done in my character design class.  But I might take the time to have fun with the style.

 I got my packages today, and boy am I happy!  I finally have my own copy of Ben Balistreri's "Seaweed", and it's just one of the coolest books I've ever seen.  Also  I got myself a brush pen; a little pain in the butt to use, but I usually do get to the point of using it all the time.

I have tons of projects to finish, but I need a break now and then to do freelance (but only when it's appropriate)

I've created my icon/mascot but still found flaws in the design that left me unsatisfied. I wanted it to be more animal (since it is) yet it's design is anthro, which did cause conflict with the final version.  In the end, I got something suitable

though I do have fun drawing animals, I still like to draw humans.  I got up this morning (01/28) to use Posemaniac's 30-second gestures and made a new sheet.

Counterpart

I have been doing everything to develope a new style for myself and it has been paying off.  though I haven't done much for humans and regular animals since november, I've been getting back on it and I'll have some of it up soon.  but besides that, I've finally made a female counterpart.

right out of my sketchbook, I bring Aily, a... female wolf (I don't know if there's a name for that) and some new doodles of my character.  not sure to make it official, but I love it!!

new name

over a while now, my little nickname "Wretneck" has finally became my nickname and people know me better by it.

so to fix my searches, I've changed my blog's name to "Wretneck" instead of "MashouStudio".  So anybody who's now lost and confused, there's no saving you!
